ABOUT SPARK & IGNITE
Whittney Tomczyk
I have been teaching for fourteen years in the state of Arizona. Educating is truly my passion, and I live for those "lightbulb" moments. I have certifications in both elementary and secondary education with endorsements in English Language Arts and Gifted Education. My experience includes teaching English language development, general education elementary school in grades three through six, gifted education, middle school and high school English, middle school math, and high school home economics.

I have training in trauma informed teaching, responsive classroom techniques, a multitude of strategies for teaching gifted children, and many valuable trainings in using educational technology to aide in quality instruction.

Program Options for Students
No two children learn exactly the same way, and that’s why Spark & Ignite Educational Coaching offers a variety of programs which range in method and delivery. Our goal is to help every student find the joy in learning.
Tutoring
At Spark, we offer both one-on-one or small group tutoring. Our one-on-one option allows for an individualized approach that can range from simple homework help to curating resources and re-teaching concepts that your student needs help with.

We can also accommodate a group of two-three students who are all working on the same skills. This can allow for learning from one's peers as well as getting that much needed social interaction.

Curriculum Consulting
Are you homeschooling your child for the first time? Or maybe you've committed to online learning for the year, but you know you'll need something extra. We can help. We could set up a one-time consultation to assess your child's needs and put together a portfolio of options for curriculum or supplemental learning based on those needs. We can recommend novel studies, math curriculum, great science subscriptions- whatever you need, we've probably tried it.

This might look like a one-time meeting to get you started or multiple conferences until you feel like you're confident about your options.

With experience teaching children in almost every grade level, we have worked with all kinds of learners— those with special needs, those on 504 plans, those who need to work ahead, and those kids who just need something different to feel confident and be successful.
